Rebranding & Art Direction BBH 2023

Discover the unexpected

We collaborated with 1800 Tequila to reevaluate their Art Direction and visual approach. Our objective was to establish a revitalised visual identity that not only endures over time but also aligns with their central campaign, "Discover the Unexpected." Part of our aim was also to contribute to the redefinition of the perspective of the World’s Most Awarded Tequila brand.

The Refraction

The work revolves around a unified theme: "Discover the Unexpected". We integrated this concept into our design by encouraging viewers to gaze through the bottle's glass, symbolising the act of exploring the world through this unique perspective.

The Grid

We created a grid rooted in the Golden Ratio, allowing us to establish a natural connection within our design. We wanted to create a profound connection with nature right from the core of our design, which is embodied in its grid structure and brings us to the nature of the product.

The design grid can flexibly accommodate all touchpoints.

Our Art Direction harness the vibrant energy and cultural warmth of Mexico, infusing it into materials, textures, and patterns while avoiding stereotypes and clichés. We wanted to achieve a heightened sense of authenticity, where the depth of tones and textures generates a welcoming, refined, yet accessible depiction of reality. Encapsulating in each image a story.
